Reformer Pilates has truly transformed my life, and I’m passionate about the incredible benefits it offers for your body—improving alignment, building strength, enhancing shape, boosting balance, and aiding in injury prevention and rehab. Unlike high-impact exercise, which I also enjoy, Pilates is gentle on your body, yet incredibly effective. It calms the mind, offering a much-needed escape from the constant mental buzz.
Years ago, I was all about the gym. But then, I started gaining weight. I tried changing my diet and ramping up my workouts, but nothing seemed to work. I remember feeling so frustrated, sitting with my friends one evening, ready to give up. That’s when Kelly, a friend who swore by Reformer Pilates, suggested I give it a try.
Those first three sessions were tough. Despite being super fit, I felt like I couldn’t keep up. It was a completely different experience—less intense than what I was used to. But as I continued, I started to connect with my body and understand the movements. Each session brought new exercises, keeping things fresh and challenging, and I gradually began to enjoy it as I got stronger.
Six months in, I noticed a remarkable change in my body. My core was stronger, my shape had transformed, and I felt fitter and more resilient to life’s stresses. I haven’t looked back since. I still love Pilates as much as I did when I started, constantly learning new exercises that keep me engaged. Plus, the amazing team at Reform makes the experience even better. Maybe I’m a bit of a Pilates enthusiast now, but honestly, I can’t think of a better thing to be passionate about!

Steph Gibbons
Meet Steph, one of the original founders alongside Alison. A passionate powerhouse behind transformative workouts. Don’t be fooled by her warm and relaxed demeanor—Steph is all about getting results. With a focus on deep strengthening through healthy alignment and functional exercises, she brings a wealth of anatomical knowledge to every session. Steph is determined to help you achieve your best, and you’ll feel the benefits long after the class is over!
With a background as a sports therapist since 2003, Steph has a solid foundation in rehabilitation techniques, which she skillfully integrates into her Pilates method. Her journey with Pilates began in 2011 in Auckland, where she quickly fell in love with the practice. During her time in New Zealand, Steph had the privilege of working with top-tier athletes in rugby, CrossFit, and cricket, enriching her expertise.
Steph’s classes are anything but routine—each session is fresh, exciting, and designed to keep your body guessing. Whether you’re looking to strengthen, rehabilitate, or simply try something new, Steph’s dynamic approach will keep you engaged and coming back for more.
Ginny Hill
Meet Ginny, a dedicated Pilates instructor with a deep passion for mindful movement and an additional certification in Yoga instruction. Ginny’s journey into Pilates was personal. After managing chronic pain for years, she experienced the transformative benefits of Pilates firsthand. She was then inspired to train with Balanced Body and share the power of Pilates with others.
With a calm and attentive approach, Ginny creates a welcoming space where clients feel challenged and confident in their bodies. Her teaching blends the breath and flow of Yoga with the precision and strength-building focus of Pilates. Olivia, a highly skilled and experienced instructor with a rich background as a former professional ballet dancer. Trained at the prestigious Royal Ballet School in London, Olivia brings over 10 years of teaching expertise to her role as a BASI Comprehensive Pilates Instructor. Her passion for movement and deep understanding of the body led her to further specialise by completing the BASI Injuries and Pathologies course.
In addition to her Pilates qualifications, Olivia is a certified ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, having completed the Professional Dancer’s Postgraduate program. Meet Steph, a dedicated and comprehensively trained Pilates teacher who has practiced Pilates throughout her adult life. This deep appreciation led her to pursue teaching, earning her mat certification with Polestar in 2018. Her love for teaching has only grown since, driving her to complete the comprehensive Polestar Pilates program, which now allows her to teach clients across all the Pilates equipment.

Introducing Casey, a versatile and passionate fitness professional with over 12 years of experience in the industry. Her diverse background includes working as an International Dance and Cheer Coach, Personal Trainer, and Group Exercise Instructor, where she has taught everything from Pilates and Cycle to Aerial Yoga and Strength and Conditioning. Recently, Casey has expanded her expertise by delving into Hormone Nutrition, and she loves sharing her knowledge to help those dealing with hormone imbalances or related conditions.
Casey has worked with a wide range of clients, addressing issues such as multiple sclerosis, hormonal imbalances, thyroid conditions, eating disorders, and various forms of pain including back, knee, and shoulder discomfort. Agata Grzeszczuk
Meet Agata, a dedicated Pilates instructor with a deep passion for movement and a rich background in sports. Agata was introduced to Pilates in 2006 while living in London and quickly became a regular student. As a long-distance runner and avid cyclist, she discovered that Pilates was the perfect complement to her cardiovascular exercises and recognised its crucial role in injury prevention.
Sport has always been a central part of Agata’s life. From her early days as a gymnast to her later pursuits in running and cycling, her love for exercise has only grown over the years. In 2010, she completed her Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training with Balanced Body and also holds REPS Level 2 qualifications, with specializations in Core Stability and Group Indoor Cycling.
With a background in psychology, Agata integrates aspects of sports psychology and coaching into her sessions, using her skills to motivate and inspire her clients. Nina Zhorzholiani
From a young age, Nina found joy and expression through the movements of the human body. Dance became her medium for conveying emotions, telling stories, and revitalising the entire being through strength, flexibility, and rejuvenation. Nina recognised the similarities between dance and Pilates, leading her to embark on her Comprehensive Classical Pilates training with Equinox in 2017. This training deepened her understanding and expertise in the transformative practice of Pilates.
Today, Nina is dedicated to helping her clients unlock their full potential. She focuses on building deep functional strength, improving movement patterns, and enhancing mobility and flexibility simultaneously. Serkan Tetik
Meet Serkan, a seasoned Pilates instructor with over a decade of experience in tailoring Pilates to support your body, whatever your life stage or situation. Serkan’s passion for sports and movement began in early childhood and led to a 10-year career as a professional handball player. His love for adventure then took him to new heights, becoming a certified mountaineer with climbs in Kyrgyzstan and China.
Certified by Balanced Body and with a deep specialization in anatomy, Serkan has accumulated over 20 certifications in biomechanics and functionality. His expertise allows him to understand how Pilates can be a powerful tool for injury recovery, managing health conditions, and helping top athletes reach their peak performance. Alongside her artistic pursuits, Barbara has always been dedicated to fitness, yoga, and Pilates, which naturally led her to retrain as a fully comprehensive BASI Pilates instructor.
Barbara’s journey with Pilates took on new meaning after a horse riding accident in her late teens left her with an injured left elbow. This experience taught her the importance of adapting physical work to suit individual needs, and she is now deeply committed to bringing Pilates to all bodies, regardless of their challenges.

Bethany Headland
Meet Bethany, a passionate advocate for fitness and well-being with a unique background in classical ballet. Originally from Australia, Bethany’s journey has taken her around the globe, living and working professionally in the US, Asia, Europe, and the UK. Her experience as a ballet dancer taught her the importance of incorporating Pilates into her daily routine, a discovery that greatly enhanced her technique and helped prevent injuries in her demanding profession.
After transitioning from ballet in 2018, Bethany pursued her passion for Pilates, training with Polestar Pilates UK and becoming a comprehensive studio instructor. Her deep understanding of movement and body mechanics, honed through years of ballet, now informs her Pilates practice.
Bethany has a special interest in working with clients with scoliosis, spinal fusion and other pathologies of the spine. In 2022 completed the ScolioPilates®️ certification becoming one of the only instructors in the UK, driven by a desire to help those with scoliosis find functional and comfortable ways to exercise. Kristina Vere-Bujnowski
Meet Kristina, a dedicated Pilates teacher whose journey began over 20 years ago when she first explored every class at the gym – and then discovered Pilates. Drawn in by its unique blend of movement, breath, precision, and control, she quickly realised that Pilates was unlike any other exercise, transforming not only her core strength and flexibility but also serving as an essential tool in managing her scoliosis, a condition she’s battled since childhood. Initially qualifying as a fitness instructor out of her sheer love for movement, Kristina’s passion led her to pursue Pilates more deeply. In 2023, she became a certified BASI mat Pilates teacher and has since advanced to become a comprehensive BASI Pilates instructor, enabling her to teach clients on any piece of equipment. Naoka Hisada
Naoka is a BASI Comprehensive Teacher with a certificate in Pilates for Scoliosis. She trained and performed as a professional ballet dancer in Germany for more than a decade. During her dance career, she was introduced to Pilates as a method of body conditioning and fell in love with it as a way to strengthen both body and mind. Naoka also holds a BSc in Health Sciences from the Technical University of Munich, bringing a well-rounded, personalised approach to her teaching.
During her dance career, she experienced several injuries, which deepened her understanding of injury recovery as well as building a body that prevents future injuries. She also loves to challenge her clients to truly feel their bodies and discover their full potential.
